Atlanta, GA – April 15, 2013. B2B Technologies, an IT Professional Services firm and Microsoft® Gold Partner specializing in business productivity, infrastructure, messaging and cloud solutions, is proud to announce its adoption of Project GRAD Atlanta, Inc. The adoption comes as part of TechBridge’s newly launched Adopt-a-Nonprofit program. TechBridge is a nonprofit dedicated to improving our community by leveraging technology solutions that empower nonprofits.

“TechBridge is thrilled to once again bring together the resources of Atlanta’s IT community with the technology needs of a nonprofit,” said James Franklin, TechBridge CEO. “We have received an overwhelming response to our recently launched Adopt-a-Nonprofit Program which directly pairs TechBridge’s corporate partners with our nonprofit clients. Sponsors commit to split technology costs with the nonprofit for one year as well as provide skilled IT volunteers who perform monthly site visits at the nonprofit’s office. Corporations may also choose to sponsor a project such as a database implementation or technology upgrade.”

The nonprofits that are part of this program are TechBridge clients, many of whom receive regular infrastructure management services typically delivered remotely using monitoring tools. The relationship with their Adopt-a-Nonprofit sponsor allows them to have onsite maintenance on a regular basis saving on their overall technology costs, or a nonprofit can receive assistance with a project implementation or technology upgrade.  “Project GRAD Atlanta is pleased and honored to participate in TechBridge’s Adopt-a-Nonprofit program.  We are excited about the opportunity to partner with B2B Technologies to improve our technological infrastructure and capabilities as we find more innovative ways to increase our efficiency of and effectiveness through our use of technology.”

TechBridge’s Adopt-a-Nonprofit Program provides a unique opportunity for local companies to positively impact nonprofits whose cause appeals to them while offering volunteer opportunities for IT staff to further their professional skills. “This is a great partnership for B2B. We are a big supporter of TechBridge and the work it does supporting nonprofits in Georgia. We also provide consulting services to school districts across the country. This partnership is a natural fit for us to help serve the Atlanta education community,” says Frank Fuerst, CEO.
